About
David is a second-year PhD student at the University of Iowa. He is broadly interested in Greek and Roman rhetoric, particularly Fourth Century Athens, the Late Roman Republic, and the early imperial era, exploring its intersections with social and political history as well as in AI and its impact on rhetoric and political communications. He does this with an eye on its contemporary relevance to the Ghanaian experience. He is also interested in ancient drama, classical languages, and their pedagogy, and again with particular attention to their place in Ghanaian curricula and classrooms. As a budding educator, he seeks to articulate, contextualize, and solve problems pertaining to the human experience in Ghana and elsewhere through Classics. During his leisure time, he enjoys listening to music and watching musical performances.
