Noah is a second year Master's Degree student in the University of Iowa Classics and Religious Studies Department. He completed his undergraduate at Iowa as well, with BA degrees in Ancient Civilization and in Music, a minor in Religious Studies, and a certificate in Jewish Studies. 

He is interested in the development of religious texts and literatures, mainly the Bible, and how different communities both interacted with them and altered them to fit their usages, whether in translation, narrative, or material format, such as the Samaritan Pentateuch, the scroll and the codex, the development of vernacular Bibles, and the Septuagint. Previously, he has worked on Bible and Archaeology with Dr. Cargill and Jordan Jones as an Associate Editor. Outside of the Department of Classics and Religious Studies, he works as Library Support in the Special Collections & Archives unit of the Main Library, where he recently completed an Independent Study researching Iowa's collection of texts given to them by the Jewish Cultural Reconstruction following World War II and the provenance of cuneiform tablets in the CARS Department.
