Vex Maxwell-Therwhanger is a PhD candidate in the Classics and Religious Studies department. They received their bachelor's degree in Ancient Mediterranean Studies and Religious Studies from Trinity University in 2024 and their master's degree in Classics from the University of Oregon in 2026. Vex's research interests concern ancient Mediterranean and Mesopotamian religions, ancient fashion, and body theory.
